We all had a fabulous experience with Martha. Loved learning about the different birds on bird island (saw my first spoonbill) and all the sea creatures. My husband and I bought membership to the Mote Marine and Laboratory so we can bring guests that visit. Went on the Sunset Cruise with out of town friends. Beautiful warm evening and gorgeous sunset. Cruised by beautiful homes on Siesta Key and Bird Key Island.

We’ve been visiting Siesta Key since 2001 and this is the first sunset cruise that we’ve taken. There is a cash bar and light snacks and they too are very reasonable. This was the 6th or 7th trip I’ve done with these guys and it’s always great.

Maybe do a little dancing or jump on our conga line that magically appears from time to time. Each tour is 90 minutes long and fully narrated including the history and wildlife of the area. The tours concentrate on Sarasota Bay and nearshore coastal waters but no two tours are exactly the same! Food and beverages including beer and wine can be purchased at our pick-up location at Hart's Landing in downtown Sarasota. Just moved to Sarasota and friends came to visit. Wanted to show them the beauty of the area and friend recommended this tour.
Same price for any number guests up to 6 people maximum. Cancellations are accepted up to 72 hours prior to cruise time for full refund of deposit. In the event the cruise must be cancelled due to inclement weather, your deposit will be refunded. No-shows at the dock without prior notification will be charged the balance of the cruise to the credit card on file.
This cruise will set sail 1.5 hours before sunset from the most convenient of four pick-up locations in Sarasota, Longboat Key, Siesta Key or Anna Maria Island. As we cruise through Sarasota Bay, we will look for manatees, dolphins and other wildlife. Take in the picturesque coastal sunset while we tour the intercoastal waterways Enjoy a complimentary bottle of champagne and snacks as the warm Florida sun sets into the Gulf of Mexico. Plus, treat yourself to a tropical cocktail and order from our light fare menu.
We offer several types of eco-tours including our renowned Sea Life Encounter Cruise and private charters aboard the Miss Explorer. My mom and I really enjoyed this boat ride! The captain and biologist were professional and informative. It was the perfect amount of time spent on the water, and we got to see lots of wildlife. In addition to our regular cruises, you may charter a trip on one of our 40-foot pontoon boats for a private group.
